Introduction | Many years ago when I wrote my first book, I introduced myself as a `simple wife and mother, with a simple faith'. Well, that hasn't changed much. After 27 years I am still a wife and my son of 24 years is now happily married. After 9 years working full time as a Special Needs/Learning Support Teacher I am now taking a break, and an awaiting to see where the Lord wants to lead me in this next season of my life. My greatest love is the Lord, followed by my husband and family. My favourite book is the Bible and what I want most out of life is to be able to say, as my mother(s) said on their deathbeds - `have I done enough for the Lord.' I love to write, I love to sing and I love to love!! |
Interests | Reading: Inspirational Christian Fiction & Devotional. Most of all though, I just love my BIBLE.) Writing - devotions, Children's stories; or anything that takes my fancy. Spending Time with my hubby. Kid's Club & Church activities. |
Favorite movies | Anything with Robin Williams. Disney movies aren't too bad; but my ultimate favourite -which Mark won't watch with me - MUSICALS!! |
Favorite music | Any worship music - at the moment Don Moen is my favourite. I also love KIDS MUSIC. Nothing cheers my soul, like listening to children singing to the Lord - and of course I sing along. |
Favorite books | I have stages, but my favourites that I've read more than 5 times (if not more) are: Any Janette Oak book; Joyce Meyers, `Battlefield of the Mind'; Charles Swindoll's, `Perfect Trust'; Bruce Wilkinson's `Prayer of Jabez'; Bob Gass' `Forgetting Your Past' and `Starting Over'; Max Lucado's `Facing Your Giants' (probably anything by Max), and the most recent: "Stormie Omartins" `Praying for'.. series. But my favourite book will always be the BIBLE. |
When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
By shaking my head.
