| Introduction | I grew up in a small town in the 'County of Maine (Aroostook County). At the age of 21 she moved to Connecticut where she has lived most of her adult life. She has been hiding out as a Database Administrator for the past 17 years. The last five of those years Danette and Meta started the journey of a historic herstory. The culmination of the five years of research, 12 years of English, 30 years of technical writing and editing, and writing a journal everyday resulted in the biography of Meta Hortense Given (1888-1981). |
