| Introduction | I'm an online marketer by profession, with a passion for fitness, nutrition, eco-living, and all things domestic around the house. I like to stay on top of technology for work and living in a "smart home," but I enjoy keeping things simple, clean and organized at home. I'm non-traditional in many senses (I planned my wedding in 3 weeks, I never changed my last name, I don't have kids), but I'm very domestic at home (I cook from scratch, I enjoy making homemade gifts and jewelry, I grow my own vegetables, etc). I try to live a very green lifestyle by recycling everything, composting, using homemade cleaners, not buying bottled water or using disposable materials. I have a lot of food intolerances, such as gluten, corn, dairy and soy, so I'm an avid label reader, and I usually make most things I eat from scratch. I also do a lot of reading and research to find the healthiest personal care and home products, to reduce or eliminate chemicals in our lives. Many of my friends and family come to me for tips on everything from how to clean something to what types of products to buy. I hope to use this blog to share the information with others. |
