Introduction	This Is My Normal State are a 5-piece band from Bristol, South West England, who create a brand of music which transcends genres such as shoegaze, ambient post-rock and dream-pop. Their sound is centred around fragile, ethereal vocals, which soar over beautiful sound-scapes of interlinking melodies produced by reverb drenched guitar loops and warm cello lines. A dynamic and powerful rhythm section allow the band to build sweeping crescendos, from gentle whispers to waves of crushing distortion, taking the listener on a journey through a range of emotions. Influences come from bands such as Sigur Rós, Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You, Mono, Mogwai and Joy Wants Eternity to name a few.
