| Introduction | I am a teacher at the fantastic Stevensville Lakeshore High School. Currently, I am teaching freshmen and juniors in English, and journalism classes. In addition to teaching, I am the newspaper adviser and the co-advisor for the Class of 2011. |
| Interests | My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. My parents both live in Muskegon. My sister and brother-in-law live in North Muskegon with their two lovely children, Lucy and Oliver. All of the adults in my immediate family are teachers, so needless to say, my summers are family-filled and fun! I also enjoy traveling. So far I have traveled to many of the states in the U.S. and also to many countries, including Ireland, Germany, Italy, and China. My goal is to travel to every continent in my lifetime. I have also recently taken up. I went to Isle Royale for my first hike this summer, which was amazing but tough. The most rewarding part was getting through the week-long hike with new shoes, an overloaded pack and little experience. I was a little underprepared! But I was fortunate enough to see a moose and her calf the last morning I was there! As an English teacher, I also ovbviously enjoy teaching and reading. :) |
