| Introduction | Bronwyn Hayward, Earthscan Routledge I am an Associate Professor of Politics and Head of a Department of Political Science. This blog was a series of occasional, personal reflections that began towards the end of writing a book called Children Citizenship and Environment: Nurturing a Democratic Imagination- about how we can support young citizens as they confront new challenges Published by Routledge in 2012 the publisher website is http://www.routledge.com/books/details/9781849714372/ However both the journey of the book and this blog changed dramatically with the earthquakes that struck my home city of Christchurch in 2010 and 2011.
