| Introduction | I've always been a sucker for an old house. New construction with its straight walls and level floors do not woo me the way the old timer' do. Ever since I was a kid growing up in a condo, I dreamed of owning an old creaky number with bags of character, a garden and a porch: preferably on a street with great porch culture! So now that I have all of the above, I'm slowly transforming my little gem room by room. Now I am no pro. But since I have been producing and directing numerous TV design, reno and gardening shows over the years, I've picked up a few tricks along the way. I hope you'll have a laugh reading my ramblings.
