Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?

NO, its because they can both cause complications. A sponge keeps accumulating and growing. Tongues have many uses, like kissing and talking, (ect). Combined, you have a growing thing that kisses. In today's society we call that a relationship, which can lead to complications. And when things get complicated, who cares how to spell things?
