| Introduction | I'm collecting 100 notes of wonder as something of an art experiment, or at least to have a place for all the mysteries that cheer me up. I was inspired by a quote I found spray-painted at the side of the high road, on a tiny island, in front of a gorgeous blue sea: "I'd rather have a mind opened by wonder than closed by belief." I have the sneaking suspicion that underneath all things, way deep down at a quantum level and stretching across that mysterious infinity we call space, there is a presence that wants the best for us. Perhaps it's not all-powerful, but it's pure love and magic just the same. |
