Introduction	I am not a morning person. Instead I prefer to stay up late and sleep late. This doesn’t work so well with kids who enjoy waking up at the crack of dawn just to watch cartoons. Remember those days? My favorite TV show is Numbers or CSI. My husband and I love watching Netflix and going to the movie theater, but the nearest one is 30 miles away. I usually don’t like romance movies or books, but instead prefer action and adventure. Bring on the violence! That could be why I love teaching world literature so much. I grew up on a chicken farm in south western Minnesota and always dreamed of being an English teacher. My favorite day of the week is Friday, of course, because then I have the entire weekend to spend building things or remodeling my old house. I collect kitchen timers and famous Disney villains, such as Maleficent, the evil queen from Snow White, Ursula, and Captain Hook.
Favorite movies	The Goonies, Better Off Dead, Mean Girls, The Running Man, What's Eating Gilbert Grape
Favorite music	Neil Young because it reminds me of the Arizona desert.
Favorite books	The Jungle, Flight, Love Medicine
