| Introduction | If you had asked me at the beginning of 2007 if I thought we were lucky, I might have said yes, but then again, maybe not. Jared and I have been married for 7 years now. Up until last year I worked full time as a nurse- most of my 10 years as a nurse have been spent in the NICU. We had a great marriage, a nice home, good jobs and two obnoxious but cute dogs. We also had been trying to conceive for the majority of our marriage. In November of last year, all that changed. We were chosen to adopt Garrison in November last year by his birthmother Michaelene and we became the luckiest two people on the planet. Maybe soon we'll get lucky again... |
