| Introduction | I love to paint! I don't have fancy words to describe my style, what I am trying to portray or what feelings should be invoked from my paintings. I swish paint around on canvas for days before the composition and color begins to become that "ah hah" moment for me. I love aspens! I love that they all have such different shapes, knots and shades of white, blue, black and grey. You just cannot mess up an aspen - unless you paint it perfectly straight. I love fall colors! Oranges, reds, greens, and yellows all go well with my freckles. I'm not a fan of blue! I am still searching for that blue that can live in my bubble without making me squirm. I love the woods! Movies have made the woods a very scary place for me so I stay focused on all the interesting life in the woods and the peace that exists past that tree line. I love horses with a story! I had never painted a horse. Recently my sister told me a story about a horse. I sat down and started painting and Big Duke's story unfolded in the painting. I loved that and so did she! I love God! Everything I paint was created by Him. That makes Him great in my book. |
