| Introduction | Bonjour! I’m the neighbor who moved to Aix and immediately started over-pronouncing pain au chocolat. I collect small confusions and big smiles: whether it’s the “tu/vous” tightrope, the right bus to the right village, or the eternal mystery of French paperwork. Come for the study notes and café vocab; stay for the stories, meetups, and the occasional butter rant. Relocated from Los Angeles to Aix in June 2025 (yes, with an ocean-liner flourish and a cross-country farewell tour). Building a new life that mixes language school, local markets, bus-pass wizardry, museum wanderings, West Coast Swing classes, and entirely too much curiosity about French butterfat percentages.
