About me

Introduction	I discovered my love of politics when reading Modern History at Oxford. I took a course on political philosophy, and found it totally fascinating. My interest in US politics came later and by chance. I arrived as Head of History at a school where the US politics teacher had left and there was no one to teach the course. I said I’d have a go, loved it and never looked back. I started writing about the American political scene about ten years ago. I am currently Deputy Head in charge of Curriculum at Caterham School in Surrey. I teach Politics and History (mainly the Early Modern era). I’ve visited America many times, and will be there again, at WRA, with our exchange students.
