| Introduction | I was introduced to performing arts when I was two years old, I was a very shy child so my parents enrolled me at the local dance school so that I could develop confidence within myself. I quickly was able to express myself and gain discipline and independence at a very young age. I went on to be a part of the English Youth Ballet in performances of The Nutcracker. This spurred me on even further to achieve my dream. I was then, at the age of sixteen, granted a Dance and Drama Award to attend Northern Ballet School. Since graduating in 2014, I have travelled the world performing on cruise ships, circuses and large productions to a great extent of audiences. I was also made dance captain were I’d have to lead rehearsals and be the team leader of the cast. Although at times, being so far from home was difficult, I loved every time I was able to entertain, I knew being on the stage, under the lights, was where I belonged. |
