| Introduction | Olive is the name I gave myself to make the idea of writing a blog a little less scary. I am a foodie-writer-lover of all things food. Something which no doubt has something to do with my upbringing. I am a half Palestinian/half Australian Londoner. When I was 21, I moved to Rome where I spent six years before moving to WA in late 2009. I cook traditional Italian and Middle Eastern food, sometimes fusing the two, sometimes sticking to the basics. If I had to choose I'd say mediterranean-influenced recipes would be the ones I love to cook the most. Although I am also a huge fan of Asian and northern European flavours, and Indian is steadily becoming something I love to cook and eat too so choosing my 'dessert island dish' is pratically impossible. |
