| Introduction | I am a Quality Assurance Expert based in the northeast Georgia area providing consulting and auditing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1981. I started as a laboratory technician and was soon promoted to chemist. After about 10 years in the laboratory environment, I found my niche in Quality Assurance. (Yes, I'm one of those people who actually loves her job!) I've conducted audits of FDA regulated processes worldwide (e.g. Canada, Spain, Russia, Bulgaria, and France to name a few). Companies are audited to assess their compliance with GCP, GLP and GMP. I've presented quality assurance training and poster abstracts at various professional conferences including DIA, SoCRA and Society of Quality Assurance. I started the local Society of Clinical Research Associates chapter to create a networking and learning environment with minimum cost to Georgia's industry professionals.
