| Introduction | I am a proud daughter, sister to 6 siblings, aunt to 17 nieces and nephews, and relative to an ever growing number of extended family members. I started this blog primarily for this large network of family to share news, stories, and updates on the condition of one of my nephews, Carter. Carter is a very special 2 year old boy that was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. A condition where the left ventricle was severly under developed at birth. As of January 10th 2012, Carter has been admitted to Seattle Children's Hospital where he will remain unti he receives a donor heart. I will use this blog to share stories and keep everyone updated.
