Introduction	I am a single mom, sister, friend, grandma, student and pancreas. Yes, I said pancreas. On June 15, 2010 my son Jaxson's pancreas quit while on the job and I became its replacement. Since then, we eat, sleep, and breathe diabetes. I am a card-carrying control freak searching for balance, and praying every day for a cure.
