| Introduction | Establishing and growing a Missouri State Voices table is a project that involves multiple stages. Historically, Missouri has seen issue-based tables arise in response to specific initiatives and legislative fights and has also seen regional nonprofit tables. Having one statewide collaborative table to improve long-term coordination and communication among nonprofit civic engagement organizations in Missouri is a need that many organizations recognize should be filled. As we continue to develop the table, we recognize the collaboration’s nonpartisan mission is to engage underrepresented or socially responsible voters in the democratic process and to establish collective action around a common issue agenda. |
