| Favorite movies | As dictated to the context of this blog: "Mondavino" (the 13 hour mini-series as well as the documentary), "A Good Year"--not much about wine making, but the French countryside is amazing; "Strange Brew" my first beer movie ever, that taught me the importance of the rhetorical Canadian usage of "eh?" and also "hoser." |
| Favorite music | I love many different genres of music. I usually let the food I'm making dictate what music will accompany it; a veritable soundtrack to cooking. |
| Favorite books | Ruth Reichl's "Tender at the Bone," "Comfort Me with Apples," and "Sapphires and Garlic." Also, Julia Child's "My Life in France." |
