Introduction	Artisan Jewelry/Artwear Designer - Cowboy Boot-Wearing Diva - Singer/Music Lover - Woman Who Loves to Laugh - new adjectives pending new experiences! It is fitting that I named my jewelry business after my grandmother and mother, both Lilahs, and my source of creative inspiration. Grandma was a creative, tenacious woman of Scottish descent. Mama is a gifted artist and writer. How much I learned from them! How to sew, crochet, write, sing from the heart, how to see beauty in nature and in the simple things, how to never give up on your dreams. I come from a wonderfully quirky family. Is it any wonder that I turned out ... well, the way I am? I find myself drawn to unusual earthy elements ... odd-shaped stones, fossils, rocks, and shells. Elements in their natural form - rough and unpolished. If it's crooked, cracked, bent, ancient, rusted, rough, broken, or just "oddly different," that's the very piece I want to incorporate into my art. These days, I marvel at all the unexpected opportunities that seem to keep coming my way ... chances to take a little stroll "off the beaten path." I'm finding some lovely surprises along the way.
