| Introduction | More than a year ago, I started this blog to reflect upon my surgery for maxillary jaw surgery. I was born with cleft lip and palate and have several surgeries throughout my life. I had braces since I was in 5th grade and I got them off in December of 2013 (I had them for almost 7 years). For my jaw surgery I had gotten a bone graft, a fistula closed, and my upper jaw moved forward about 2-4mm. I just recently underwent a rhinoseptoplasty and that's what this blog will be focusing on for now. I will be attending college this next fall after I recover from this current surgery.
