| Introduction | Hi everyone! I graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in May 2009. Since then I have been living in Birmingham and enjoying all that life has to offer! I am now a first year medical student at UAB (yikes!) and am so excited about the year to come! Even though I am a science nerd at heart, I have a LOVE for baking. It began by watching endless shows on Food Network and cake decorating shows on WE (like Amazing Wedding Cakes). For the past few years, I have been baking cakes for my friends for their birthdays, but never really decorating them. In September 2009, I wondered why I never learned to decorate! So, I took an awesome decorating class at Louise's Cakes and Things in Hoover, Al. After the class, I began decorating cakes and cupcakes for birthdays, etc. I really want to learn as much as I can, and I plan on chronicling it here! Besides baking, I love to listen to music, hang out with friends, and work out! |
