What reason do you have to believe the earth is flat?
Whenever I'm at the beach looking off at the ocean, it looks as if you sailed too far, you would simply fall off the end of the world. I can understand why people used to believe the world was flat, because looking at it from our point of view, it doesn't seem like it could be anything else.
