| Introduction | I'm IBRRC's Technology Manager and I started as a volunteer back in 1997. The blog was started two days after the Cosco Busan hit the San Francisco Bay Bridge in November 2007. Its aim is to communicate news, views and IBRRC's worldwide oil spill response and training efforts. In 2000 I got the organization's first website off the ground. My specialty is information technology (servers, databases, web, computers and phone systems). I've also worked on a number of oil spills in California and the 2000 Treasure Spill in Cape Town, South Africa. My favorite bird is a African "jackass" Penguin. |
