| Introduction | As an award-winning author and storyteller (I won the Story Slam at the 2010 National Storytelling Conference in Los Angeles,) I enjoy telling many kinds of stories to all ages. I specialize in telling stories of real people who made a difference. I've told stories at many venues in the Northeastern USA. Each of my first four CDs won a national storytelling award. My fifth CD, "Learning About Muslims", was released 3/22/17. I also created and maintain the web site www.storynews.org which documents how storytelling is being used as an effective communications tool around the world. I have summarized nearly 500 articles published since June 2003 which describe various uses of storytelling. |
