| Introduction | Our "tribe" was established September 16, 2006 when Michael Chavis & I made it official in Chico, CA after dating for 6 years. We began our life in Mission Viejo, Mike working as a Technical Recruiter, myself as an occupational therapist at UCI Med Center. After almost a year as newlyweds, we were happily surprised with news that our first baby was on the way. On April 23, 2008 Miles Alexander Chavis blessed us & the world! He so stole our hearts that we chose to uproot our family from the family, friends, sunshine & beaches we so dearly loved, and moved to Lincoln, CA so I could be a full time Mommy in our very own home in the burbs. One year after our move, God blessed our family with our second son, Ryder Michael Chavis on December 31, 2009. We now have 2 toddlers (give or take 2 more depending on how the day has been & how hungry everyone is!), and a life that we thank God for each & everyday! |
