| Introduction | I am a Teaching Assistant Professor in East Carollina University's College of Education (Department of Special Education, Foundations, and Research). I am the author of the book Education the the Marketplace, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Pathfinder Community School in Durham, NC. I am also an Assistant Editor at Tipping Points magazine (Alliance for Self-Directed Educaiton.)
