| Introduction | I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 18 years; I have 4 great, fun, cool children 13, 9, 4, 2; I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and cows that roam around on our 32 acres out in Era, Tx; I have been a nurse since I graduated from TCU in Fort Worth 17 years ago; I have been a nurse on the floors of all kinds; PCU, ICU, ER, Cath Lab, OR, PACU, School Nursing, doctor's office, Doing Rounds and charts with a Doctor in hospital setting. I thought I wanted to be a FNP, but with a lot of soul-searching and thought, I am now getting my MNE, and hopefully on with my PhD; I am sooo curious about soo many things that I want to participate in research. On the side, I am an uncertified Doula(labor coach) and have been for 15 years and I love it(wouldn't want it to be my job because of bad hours). |
| Interests | Camping, outdoors fun, cooking, having fun with the kids and husband, hanging out with friends, having good conversations, I am game for a lot of things; I like new experiences, especially with travel. |
| Favorite movies | Too many!!! I am a movie freak!! I love musicals, but I also love horror and drama. |
| Favorite music | Any music is good for me as long as I am in that mood at that time. I don't have one kind only that I listen to. I love to dance, so any music will do, I can adapt. |
| Favorite books | I love books also, I will try any book and work my hardest to get through it even if it isn't going well. I have spurts of what kind I read at a given time. I don't get to read as much for pleasure because of school right now, but I have plenty ready for the breaks. |
