| Introduction | Merry Meet! My name is Sonja and I'm a proud and honored practitioner of Neo-Pagan Dianic Wicca/Witchcraft. Dianic Witchcraft (sometimes known as "Feminist Witchcraft") combines elements of British Traditional Wicca, Italian folk magic, feminist values, rituals, and healing magic. I worship the Goddess only (honoring male deities as Her consort when required). This blog was developed as a place where I can freely express myself, both as a Witch and as a woman. I can recall from a very young age I have always had a special connection to Mother Nature (as most Wiccans do), and throughout my adolescence, my interests spread into divination (Runic & Tarot), spell casting, candle magick, herbal medicine and magicks, and afterlife acknowledgement (seeing or communing with ghosts/spirits/elementals). As more Witches "come out of the broom closet", more and more information is available on the subject, the community is growing; not just on Witchcraft but other consciousness-expanding subjects as well. | Interests | My family. My kitties. My Goddess. Being a better mother than my mother was. I love chickens!! Gardening, cooking, being silly, goofy, and ridiculous.I LOVE doing yoga more than Tae Bo but I gotta switch it up a little. I also practice Dianic witchcraft, listen to my intuition, become speechless at the beauty of a full moon. I believe that the supernatural isn't: it is PART OF NATURE, therefore IT IS natural. I love to watch trees sway in the breeze, listening to their secrets. I love to watch clouds pass by and see what shapes they resemble. I am a bit superstitious. |
| Favorite movies | I really do enjoy most movies.. with the exclusion of most horror flicks. Reality is a bit more scary, why do I need to see it replicated on film? |
| Favorite music | I listen mostly to ambient/spa/lounge/house music. Though I have been known to listen to blues and country :) |
