Introduction I'm a retired U.S. citizen living on an island in the Caribbean. As a former legal secretary, mother of 3 and Grandmother of 7 moving to an island was a big step in my life. My husband, Mike, and I have been married for over 30 years. We migrated to Guanaja in the early 1980's for diving and moved there in 1997. We endured Hurricane Mitch, built a house and enjoy our leisurely lifestyle on the island. I enjoy diving, snorkeling, reading, crafts, cooking, stamping, sewing, gardening, Yoga, Sudoku and hiking not necessarily in that order.
Interests Stamping, sewing, gardening, reading, crafts, Sudoku, crocheting, snorkeling, hiking and cooking.
Favorite Movies Usual Suspects, Gone with the Wind
Favorite Music Anything but rap or hip hop. Love "Footlose"
Favorite Books Books by Elizabeth George, Maeve Binchy, Johnathan Kellerman and Nicholas Sparks, to name a few. For more serious books, David McCullough. I am interested more in historical fiction and autobiographies.

Why are people hesitant to retire?
