Introduction	After our two children got to middle school, I started a home-based desktop publishing/writing business in 1991. I am narrowing my writing focus to the exploration of the Power of Connection in various areas of life, and have created a website/blog called Heartspoken.com for this purpose. I am very involved in our community and very interested in issues involving nonprofits and philanthropy.
