Location	DeWitt, Arkansas
Introduction	A seventy five year old man who has battled type I brittle diabetes since 1954. A 6 bypass open heart surgery in 2001 gave dad more years enjoying deer hunting and all other aspects of life. In early july, dad was diagnosed with end stage renal disease and congestive heart failure. A six hour diabetic coma lead to a stroke on his right side on July 10, 2008. Now dad is in kidney failure and is beginning Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD). What you read here may not always be pretty, but we always try to see the silver lining~~dad is going to continue to get stronger every day and hopefully, God will grant us with dad's presence for many years to come.
