| Introduction | I'm a rural dweller, later in life mama, perfectionist, worrier, wife, lover, and friend. The transition from one child (Claire, 3) to two (Jasper, 15 months) has been a difficult one for me. On the one hand having my kids later in life has been awesome; I never feel like I'm missing anything when I'm with them because I did so much before I even had them. On the other hand, I was pretty well set in my ways before the kids came along and at times it is hard to let go into the chaotic world that is the life of a stay-at-home mom with a pre-schooler and toddler. This blog is part diary, part therapy, and part correspondence to keep long-distance loved ones up-to-date on me and my life. |
