| Introduction | i'm just a girl who likes to read. i didn't always like to read. in fact, i didn't really begin reading until after i finished my master's degree, which is crazy. i was always very focused on my education, so i never ever read for fun. i actually struggled with reading when i was younger. i was a math whiz. calculus came easy to me, but i couldn't grasp vocabulary. even to this day, the meaning of words does not come easy to me. after i got my master's degree, i found that i was getting bored a lot. to be honest, the book that hurdled me into the world of reading was twilight. i was fascinated when i got sucked into it. i read the whole series in ten days. it was all up hill from there. i really think that i am addicted to reading. books are like movies that you don't want to end, and they don't end, at least for a few days. you can just soak them up as long as you want. i never knew how beautiful words could be, or how they could make you feel. i tend to think a lot, and over think. but when i read, i dont have to think. i can live in another world. |
