| Introduction | I love history and philosophy and religious studies and truth. Since I was young, I've loved studying the scriptures and defending them. It's not really that hard, because as a member of the restored Church of Christ, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I start with the answers. It's kind of like playing Jeopardy with the answers to 5 of the 6 categories. There's still a lot to know, but we've got an easier time of it. The trick is not caring what the world thinks of the truth. If you can do that once you've found it, then you've made it. That said, I do have quite the amazing wife and slew of boys (4, though my parents survived 7). When it's all said and done, this blog is for my kids. I feel that this will be perhaps the best way to hold myself accountable to my duty to provide them with a tangible testimony. I've made this public simply because it might do some good, but honestly, if you're reading this, you're probably the only person who ever has. Except my mom and a few former students. They seem to see everywhere. |
