Introduction	I am a new teacher. I have changed careers at the age of 49 as I needed something more sustainable for work. I enjoy education and will start as a teacher of English in the new year working with 13 to 18 year olds. I would like to write for a living one day but the teaching will pay the bills for the moment. I am a sole parent. I have 5 children two who are independent, one who will go to University next year and two younger children who will live with me for a few more years.

Favorite movies	I love all sorts of movies from the ridiculous (The Watch) to the sublime (Midnight in Paris) A good movie is enhanced by the company it is enjoyed with.
Favorite music	On my I pod is an eclectic mix from Classical to Dub Step. As long as I can hear the words or dig the rythym is is all good. Enjoying James Blunt, Adele, Gin Wigmore, Mount Eden at the moment.
Favorite books	Too long a list to put here classics through to modernist. Reading Cry The Beloved Country right at the moment
