Introduction	I am an early 40s writer and mother who recently graduated university. I had intended to seek employment immediately after school, however, my daughter's worsening health problems have made finding a job very difficult. This blog is largely about her, raising her, and the circumstances in which we find ourselves. I am Canadian so a lot of what I write about may be specifically Canadian, but I hope that enough is universal and will be useful to others.
Interests	Writing, Reading, politics, human rights, baking, ensuring those around me enjoy/endure a constant witty commentary to accent their lives. They may see that differently.
Favorite Movies	Star Trek, Spirited Away, Despicable Me, Brokeback Mountain, many more. I have a love of horror movies as well.
Favorite Music	Tom Waits, Miles Davis, Nick Drake, Jazz and Classical music. Queen.
Favorite Books	I will list authors instead: Thomas Hardy, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Don DeLillo, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Mordecai Richler, Walt Whitman, William Blake, and the list goes on.

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?

First, ew, don't put coins in your mouth, they're filthy. Second, I imagine that it's because they taste like copper and blood tastes like copper.
