| Introduction | I am an early 40s writer and mother who recently graduated university. I had intended to seek employment immediately after school, however, my daughter's worsening health problems have made finding a job very difficult. This blog is largely about her, raising her, and the circumstances in which we find ourselves. I am Canadian so a lot of what I write about may be specifically Canadian, but I hope that enough is universal and will be useful to others. |

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
First, ew, don't put coins in your mouth, they're filthy. Second, I imagine that it's because they taste like copper and blood tastes like copper.
