| Introduction | I am a product of N.E European parents, refugees from WW2. I was born in Oz and turned out an slightly confused hybrid as having a distinctly clear cultural identity. I have ended up readily relating to all kinds of cultures in all types of areas. Surprising what may resonate. Could be certain music to even the sense of yearning after moving to a foreign land. Strange after being born and bred in Oz with my parent's country being even less known. I love and relate greatly to Jonny Cash. Especially his sympathy for the outsider. Similarily his empathy for those who stumble, yet knowing the importance of the good values and trying to live by those. His best songs cover those themes remaining timeless in appeal. I am lucky to have my adult children and new grandson. They are interesting, strong willed, fun, lovable and inspiring. I am also an avid animal lover despite being driven nuts by my "darling" cats. I have become concerned about social reprecussions over how poorly psychopathy is understood. That is aside from practioners in the legal forensic areas, frontline justice and psychiatric workers. |
| Interests | Research findings, especially from the social sciences and medical fields. Looking at how the Legal system works. I am addicted to exploring all types of areas to increasingly understand this world. My social science , social work background does influence my processing of things. I take matters of social justice seriously. That is despite how bleak it often looks for its true realisation. Outside of that I love recreating with music, good movies, good crime books and if I'm honest tend to be somewhat undisciplined in my hedonism. I love beaches and forests, but omit anything rugged from that. I also like relaxing with some friends and interacting with people who share my interests. |
| Favorite movies | Michael Collins, The God Father, Clerks, Walk the Line,Candy(with Heath Ledger), Dogtown, Ken Park |
| Favorite music | Celtic,as well as many other types that depict real life struggles and joys across the world and ages. Can include Tupac and Paul Wilbur. Other languages as well.Cash for the struggles of the times spent as an outsider. |
| Favorite books | Of late those written by John Douglas & (co authored) Mark Olshaker. They write about the worst facets most prefer to ignore-like other social facts. |
If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?
It would be a clear, hot summer's night,in Wilsons Prom camping. A great spot in Vic Aus. Just outside my tent on my sleeping bag. Good enough for my level of astronomy.
