About me

GenderMale
IntroductionI am originally from North Andover, Maschusetts, a small town 20 miles north of Boston. I received my B.A at Keene State College in New Hampshire, where I majored in Political Science and Holocaust/Genocide studies. My interest in Conflict Resolution was born from a lifetime interest in history and politics, and a love for arguing about both. I chose to enroll in the Conflict Resolution program at Georgetown because I wanted a curriculum that combined my interests in politics, genocide studies, and human rights. I believe that education, advocacy and awareness are the best way facilitate social progress in a sustainable way, as we can never truly move towards the ideals of peace and nonviolence without effectively engaging and learning from the past.
InterestsIn CR- Transitional Justice, International Law, Human Rights, Atrocity Prevention, Humanitarian Aid, Corporate Social Responsibility, the psychology/ root causes of intergroup conflict, and a (cynical) fascination with U.S politics. Outside of CR, I enjoy reading, music, playing sports, rooting for the Patriots (save your terrible deflategate jokes), fishing, boating, and anything else related to the ocean, and singing in the shower. And most importantly, being with my family and friends.
Favorite musicIn no particular order: The Decemberists, R.E.M, Talking Heads, Pearl Jam, The Beatles, The Who, Neil Young, Dylan, The Avett Brothers
