Introduction We are Elena and Niki or Eleniki. Both of us have passion for learning foreign languages, for writing and translating. In the language of the mohawk people to translate means to transplant something from one soil to another. When you transplant a living plant, you must be careful so that you don’t hurt its roots, you must make sure that the plant will get enough water and light on the new spot. The same thing applies to the act of translating. It is like gardening in the field of language and words are precisely like living plants. We have acquired indology degree from the Centre of Eastern Languages and Cultures. We have practiced hindi in Agra for seven memorable months and now we keep on trying to stay tuned with the frequency of India. We are interested in ecology, because we do take care for the Mother Earth. In animals because they are our relatives and endless source of inspiration. In tribes because the tribal man is the best connoisseur of the language of Nature, he is the first philologist on Earth. In languages because they brought us together although usually they tend to separate people.
