Introduction	There are few things that your current self has in common with your preschool self. One of them, for me, is the freakish attention I pay to advertising. As a kid, it came out in the grocery store, singing commercial jingles the second a familiar logo caught my eye. Now, I'm that girl who forgets to fast forward during TiVo recordings because I am more enthralled by the ads than the show. Unless, of course, I'm watching Mad Men.
