| Introduction | My name is Selene I spent the last year living in the south of France; Aix-en Provence. I am back in the states for the summer but will be returning to France in August to spend a year in Paris. My love for cooking came from my mother who has always inspired me in the kitchen. When I was a child I was very stubborn and refused to use recipes.I would bake awful cakes that were rock hard and feed them to my family. I still give my family members lots of credit for eating those cakes and pretending to like them. Since then I have come a long way, I learned that recipes can actually help and now I am at the point where I am experienced enough to cook without recipes but actually have the food turn out well. Besides cooking I love to travel, I take a lot of my inspirations from other cultures and have taken cooking classes in Thailand, Brazil, Morocco and Italy. I hope my blog will inspire people with new ideas for meals to share with friends and family. |
