| Introduction | As an educator to many and a learner of everything. I have been teaching history for several years. I have made it my mission to open eyes and help learners find THEIR path. Not one we feel they have to walk.... or at least what a system or admin tells us to preach to them. I have the privilege to say I have the 2nd best job in the world (#1 would be a stay at home husband to one of my favorite artists, see Favorite Music for a hint). Teaching middle school history in an area which mirrors my own upbringing has been my goal. Knowing that I teach students who have struggles and challenges similar to my own allows me to connect better to them and makes it that much more rewarding when I see them off on their path better equipped and better prepared to take on their next adventure. Just like a video game, I am just a helpful NPC (none-player character) on my mission to help them navigate their path while I can. I have dedicated this blog to those who have played a role in my development as an educator, whether positive or not, they have helped me reach my level today and those that will follow.
