| Introduction | I am a high school librarian with an elementary teaching degree. I started working at a school library in 2002 and have enjoyed working here ever since. My favorite part of the job is working with the staff and students. I enjoy ordering and selecting all of the books for the students and staff. My school has a student body of about 800 students from 9th through 12th grade. The students utilize the media center for class work, study hall, and socializing. The staff here works hard to maintain a student friendly atmosphere. Our media center is in sections with computers, tables, video editing labs, and lounging area. I am a mother of two wonderful children. This year my son started kindergarten and my daughter is three. I love to spend time with them, when I am not working at the school or daycare. My number one passion is working with children. I love to read after the kids go to bed. My husband works construction and is remodeling our house. |
