| Introduction | My name is Heather Smith, after studying for 3 Years i graduated from Performers College in Essex in 2011 with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre and i also gained my Diploma in Dance Instruction in Modern Theatre and Tap Dance. (DDI) Since graduating i went on the work for PEEL at a two Warner Leisure Hotels, 'Thoresby Hall' and 'Nidd Hall'. Here i was part of the Entertainment team performing as a singer/dancer. I then worked as a dance teacher, teaching all styles of dance and musical theatre to children from the age of 3-18. I have also done Film and Tv extra work where i filmed in BBC 'Call the Midwife' and ITV 'Murder on the Home front' as well as many different commercials and films. I have also worked abroad as a dancer and now i am enjoying dance teaching. Beginning this BA Hons in Professional Practise is my next chapter enabling me to grow as a performer and professional and achieve the qualifications needed for my future career choices. |
