IntroductionI've been a fine artist all my life. I've been lucky to have studied with the best artists and have enjoyed success as a professional Painter and Instructor. I am a portfolio expert. My students have been offered scholarships to well known art schools. Most of them are highly competitive programs. Because I love what I do, I've created the Portfolio Preparation program (pre-college) at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor NY. This program has achieved great success over the past few years. My students work hard and enjoy the program so much many of them come back to visit with their stories of success! Here is a little bit about my background, I studied Illustration and Advertising at the High School of Art and Design. I've received a BFA in painting and Art Education from Pratt Institute, as well as an MA and MFA in Painting from CW Post College. I was a member of the Art/Art History faculty at Empire State College for 12 years. My work has been written about in Arts Magazine, Newsday, The New York Times and Art News. I simultaneously work in many disciplines. Primarily painting with oil on canvas and also working as a Designer of Theatrical Installations for Dance.
InterestsThe fine arts, painting, theater design, mentoring young artists and helping them to achieve their professional goals.
