Introduction	I am a forty-something, [fractionally] physically diminished, rugby front-row forward. Having lost half a yard of pace and, after many years reflecting on a hard-won cauliflower ear and faded stud-marks, I have been inspired out of retirement to live out unfilled ambitions through my 14 year-old rugby playing son. The sound of the whistle has drawn me back into the rugby trenches with a great bunch of coaches, lads and parents of the Gordano Sharks Rugby Football Club in Somerset.
