| Introduction | UNC-CH Pauper Players is a student-run organization dedicated to bringing all musical theater productions to UNC-CH's campus. Established in 1989, Pauper Players produces a fall musical, a Broadway musical review, and a spring musical every year. Some of our past productions include: Once on this Island, Chicago, Chess, Godspell, Little Shop of Horrors, Gypsy, Sweeney Todd, and Pippin. Broadway Melodies, our annual mid-year musical review, is composed of four thematically different half hour sets by four different directors.
Pauper Players offers students an opportunity to participate in every aspect of musical theater production. Aside from actors, singers, and dancers, we are always recruiting directors, producers, stage managers, musicians, choreographers, stage hands, scenic designers, and costumers. Students can also participate doing business management or publicity on the organizational staff. Get involved! Pauper Players is always looking for people to help. No experience necessary! |
